The Mastermind CJones

CJones was born in the late 1980s in Brooklyn, New York. Growing up, he found himself mesmerized by the vibrant colors and intricate artwork that covered the subway cars. While others saw vandalism, he saw expression. While authorities called it a crime, he called it art on display for everyday commuters. Every morning on his way to school, his mind drifted to those bold letters and how the colors blended so seamlessly. He could not stop staring.

So he started drawing.

It became an obsession. CJones would grab any pencil, any scrap of paper, and mimic what he saw rolling through the city. His classmates noticed he was ahead of them. The teachers noticed too. That approval fueled something deeper. He entered art contests throughout his grade school years and won more than a few. He drew superheroes to match whatever theme the judges requested. But one contest judge gave him something more valuable than a trophy.

That judge told him he could create books too.

That simple sentence planted a seed. Over the years, CJones kept working on his craft, refining his signature style. He eventually packed his talents and moved from the North to the South, landing in North Carolina. But the fire never faded. He kept creating artwork for anyone with working eyes, deep minds, and big dreams.

His approach to storytelling is immersive and cinematic. His illustrations pull directly from the streets of Brooklyn, mixing raw graffiti energy with the bold, polished lines of classic superhero comics. Every panel feels alive. Every character carries weight. When you experience his work, you are not just reading a story. You are stepping into a world he built specifically for you.

CJones creates for dreamers. He creates for those who see art where others see nothing at all.
